Print Production & Bindery Assistant

AlphaGraphics Madison is looking for a dependable, energetic Print Production & Bindery Assistant to join our growing production team.

No printing experience is required—we are willing to train the right person.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying busy, learning new skills and being part of a team. You will assist with finishing and packaging printed products, local deliveries, shipping and a variety of production responsibilities.

What You'll Do

Your day will include a variety of hands-on responsibilities, including:

• Assist with bindery and print finishing operations
• Cutting, folding, scoring and book binding
• Packaging and preparing completed jobs for customers
• Assist with mailing projects and fulfillment
• Create, package and process UPS shipments
• Make local customer deliveries using a company vehicle
• Load and unload printed materials and finished products
• Perform quality checks to ensure jobs are completed accurately
• Help organize inventory, materials and production areas
• Assist with recycling, waste removal and maintaining a clean, safe production environment
• Help production team members meet customer deadlines
• Cross-train in other areas of our operation, including digital printing and large format graphics and signage
• Pitch in wherever needed to keep jobs moving and customers happy

As you gain experience, you may have the opportunity to learn additional production equipment and take on increasingly skilled responsibilities.

Physical & Driving Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be comfortable standing, bending and moving throughout the workday
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be comfortable driving a company vehicle for local deliveries
• Must be able to safely load, unload and transport printed materials and packages
